§ Mr. Iain MacleodEighty-five beds are available, which is somewhat less than the average for the country. I am aware of the long waiting list at the Royal Gwent Hospital and steps have been taken to improve the position by a quicker turnover of beds. The provision of additional beds and other facilities is under consideration for action when resources permit.
