§ Mr. J. StuartNo detailed survey has been made since my hon. Friend the Joint Under-Secretary of State's statement in the House on 6th April, but it is proposed to complete one in September. Meanwhile I am informed that satisfactory progress is being made and the amount for which no arrangements have been made for working has been further substantially reduced. There is, however, no room for any slackening of effort on the part of those concerned.
