§ 69. Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will consult with the Minister of Education, with a view to ensuring as far as practicable that the statistical tables in their respective annual reports are of a uniform and comparable character.
§ Mr. J. StuartThe differences in the educational systems of the two countries limit the extent to which the statistics in the respective annual reports can be presented in comparable form, but there is already consultation between the Scottish Education Department and the Ministry of Education with a view to securing as great a degree of uniformity as is practicable.
