Reidasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if, in view of the proposals for a federation of West African Colonies, he will consult the French Government, whose Colonies are contiguous with British territories, to see whether the proposals could be considered from a geographical and tribal community basis, rather than from the test of the nationality of the trustees.
