§ 57. Mr. Emrys Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will place the official report of the recent conspiracy trial held at the High Court at Edinburgh in the Library of the House.
§ Mr. Henderson StewartThe shorthand notes of the evidence in this case have not been extended since there has not been an appeal, and even if they had been extended it would not be in line with the normal practice to place a copy of them in the Library of the House of Commons. Nevertheless, I recognise that there are exceptional features in this case and arrangements are being made for a transcript to be made and placed in the Library as soon as it is ready.
