asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Defence whether he will arrange for a flight of helicopters to be attached to the Commonwealth Division in Korea, so that United Kingdom and Commonwealth generals need not rely on the United States services for helicopter transport.

Mr. Birch

No. The helicopter requirements of the Commonwealth Division are satisfactorily met by the United States services. The provision of British helicopters would lead to unnecessary duplication.
