90. Mr. K. Thompson

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations if he will consult with Her Majesty's Government in Canada with a view to securing the interests of United Kingdom shipping companies in the redefining of Canadian coastal waters following the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway.

The United Kingdom Government is in close touch with the Canadian Government on this as on all questions affecting United Kingdom interests in Canada.
