§ Sir T. DugdaleThe percentages quoted by my hon. Friend relate to the war-time farm survey that started in 1941 and no longer apply. Farm surveys were revised and remodelled in 1949, primarily as an aid to advisory work, and are still continuing. They are conducted by county agricultural executive committees who are no longer required to grade farmers and many in fact have ceased to do so.
