§ Mr. Snowasked the Minister of Education whatamendment to Section 39 (5) of the Education Act, 1944, she will now introduce, following the action of the Lord Chief Justice in dismissing the appeal of a Kent parent convicted by a lower court for non-attendance of his six-year-old child, in order to make it clear that the words "nearest available route" shall mean "nearest available safe route."
