asked the Minister of Supply what action he proposes to take on the report of the Monopolies Commission on the Electric Lamp Industry.

I would refer the hon. Member to the replies given to the hon. Member for West Ham, North (Mr. Lewis) on 19th May, 1952, and 7th July, 1952, in which my right hon. Friend informed the House of the Government's decisions on the Report and the action taken. I am sending him copies of these replies.

asked the Minister of Supply if he will now make a statement on the Government's conclusions with regard tothe Report of the Monopolies Commission concerning electric wires and cables.
