§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeDuring the twelve months ended 30th September, 1953, 42 members of police forces in England and Wales were convicted of 155W offences. For the 12 months ended 30th September, 1950, 1951 and 1952, the numbers were respectively 31, 33 and 38. I regret that figures for earlier years are not available.
