asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he proposes to call the attention of all the local government authorities to the results of the investigations of the Treasury's Organisation and Methods Department of the administration of the Coventry City Council.

Mr. Marples

My right hon. Friend does not think it is necessary to do so by formal circular at this stage. This report has received wide publicity, and he understands that the city council has made copies available to interested local authorities.
