asked the Minister of Health (1) if he has now received their programme of capital works from the Birmingham Regional Hospital Board;

(2) what proportion of the sum of £625,000, notified to the Birmingham Regional Hospital Board in July, 1953, for the financing of schemes in the region during the financial year 1954–55 has now been allocated by them;

(3) what schemes have been approved for grant by the Birmingham Regional Hospital Board out of the sum of £625,000 allocated to them for the financial year 1954–55; and what is the estimated cost of each.
