77. Mr. Dugdaleasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will hold an inquiry into the conduct of the Kenya Home Guard and police, similar to that held by the War Office into the conduct of British troops in Kenya.

Friend has only just returned from Nigeria today. I have no doubt that he will give early consideration to this matter in the light of later developments.
