asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance what is the maximum pension obtainable under the Government's proposals by an ex-Service man with 100 per cent. disability; and what is the percentage increase over the amount obtainable in October, 1951.

Mr. Peake

The maximum pension and allowances payable to a married ex-private with two children will be E11 10s. 4d. a week. The corresponding figure in October, 1951, was £8 6s. 7d., a percentage increase of 38 per cent.
