§ Mr. J. P. L. ThomasYes. Junior ratings and ranks over the age of 17½ years, if not undergoing training on first entering the Navy, will in future be allowed to wear plain clothes when entering and leaving naval shore establishments. This will apply to commands both at home and abroad.
