54. Mr. G. Wilsonasked the Minister of Education whether, having regard to paragraph 9 of Circular 283 on additional educational building, particularly in rural areas, he will make a statement of the possible modifications to development plans.
§ Sir D. EcclesThe Education Acts do not provide for the formal revision of development plans. It was, however, always contemplated that particular proposals contained in the plans might need to be modified when the time came for giving effect to them. Now that more work is to be done in the rural areas, I hope the parties concerned will look again at those proposals which either of them consider might with advantage be modified.
