§ Mr. J. FosterBoth European and African Advisory Councils were fully consulted before it was decided in 1950 that the Colonial Development Corporation should establish an abattoir at Lobatsi. I have seen Press reports of views recently expressed by the European Council and have called for a report from the High Commissioner. I should prefer not to make any statement at present.
