§ 6. Mr. J. Hyndasked the Minister of Food whether he has considered, in connection with the proposed legislation for the compulsory use of iodised salt, the number of people who are allergic to iodine; and whether he will give the House assurances on their behalf.
Dr. HillNo decision has yet been taken to add iodine to salt. Before any such decision is taken, full consideration will be given to the point raised by the hon. Gentleman.
