§ Mr. Proctorasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he will arrange a road test for the illumination device for use at Zebra crossings as suggested by Mr. E. Goodman, 666 Bolton Road, Pendlebury, Manchester, details of which have been supplied to his Department.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydI have carefully considered Mr. Goodman's suggestion, but as the hon. Member was informed last January, there are objections to it in principle. In the circumstances, I do not think that a road test would serve any useful purpose.
