asked the Minister of Health if he is aware of the overcrowding in the Crawley and District Hospital and the inadequate out-patients' and maternity facilities; and what measures are being taken to alleviate the situation.

Yes. I am informed that the South-West Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board have consulted the Crawley Development Corporation, and are preparing plans for extending these departments.
