asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why the grant to the National Museum of Wales has been increased to £60,250 for 1953–54 from £58,875 for 1952–53.

So that the galleries may be rearranged to exhibit the very fine art collection bequeathed to the Museum by the late Miss Gwendoline Davies.
