§ 66. Mr. Benceasked the President of the Board of Trade what steps are being taken to establish new industries in the Twecler, Croy, Cumbernauld and Kirkintilloch districts of Eastern Dunbartonshire.
§ Mr. H. StraussThe Board of Trade will give what help they can to suitable industrialists willing to establish a factory in this area. They have, of course, no power to direct industrialists to a particular place and the needs of other parts of the Development Area much also be considered.
