HC Deb 12 November 1953 vol 520 c86W
Mr. Mason

asked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the high casualty list of Barnsley Beckett Hospital amounting to 31,400 attendances in 1952, and the fact that it is understaffed, he will consider the appointment of a senior casualty officer on the suggested scale of£1,300–£1,750 per annum.

Mr. Iain Macleod

I will certainly consider any proposal the Regional Hospital Board may make for such appointments.
