asked the Minister of Health if he is aware that vaccination with matter derived originally from smallpox provokes in some cases a reaction similar to that shown in cases of genuine smallpox; and if he can indicate how such cases may be distinguished from genuine smallpox.

My right hon. Friend is informed that vaccination with matter derived originally from smallpox would provoke smallpox. The second part of the Question therefore does not arise.
