§ Miss HorsbrughI have no information on the first two parts of the Question, because the appointment and conditions of service of supervisory assistants156W in school dining rooms is a matter for the local education authorities concerned. No directives have been issued by my Department in regard to hours of work, but I have asked the Oldham Authority to review their expenditure on overheads in the school meals service, because it was rather high.
