(2) if he will now bring forward legislation to extend the principles and scope of the Coal-Mining Subsidence Act, 1950.
§ Mr. Joynson-HicksUnder the Coal-Mining (Subsidence) Act, 1950, my right hon. Friend has recently paid £100,000 to the National Coal Board, making a total of £600,000 since the Act was passed. He is not prepared at the present time to propose further legislation on this subject.
