HC Deb 11 May 1953 vol 515 cc60-1W
57. Mr. Nabarro

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he has yet received the report of the Pilkington Committee upon an enlarged industrial fuel advisory service in accordance with a principal recommendation of the Ridley Report; in what form he proposes to publish the report of the Pilkington Committee; and, in view of growing anxiety on coal supplies for next winter, whether he will make a statement.

Mr. Joynson-Hicks

My right hon. Friend has recently received the Report and the Government are now considering its detailed proposals for the setting up of an industrial organisation to provide fuel efficiency services. He hopes to make an early statement.
