§ 60. Mr. Alportasked the Minister of Agriculture when the horticultural experimental farm for East Anglia, the establishment of which has already been approved in principle, will be opened; and what action is being taken at the present time.
§ Mr. NugentThe proposed horticultural experimental station will be set up as soon as we can provide the money. This may not be for some time. Within the present financial limitations my right hon. Friend thinks it best to concentrate on the development of the centres which are in hand. Meanwhile the results of the work of the existing horticultural and experimental centres are available to all growers.
