asked the Minister of Agriculture what final reply he has sent to the Independent Fruit Growers' Committee's request for particulars of producers whom they wish to circulate on the subject of the Apple and Pear Marketing Scheme.

Mr. Nugent

The reply sent explained that the register of producers is now open to inspection, and that in all the circumstances and having regard to the provisions of the relevant legislation my right hon. Friend could not see his way to make available to this Committee the list of apple and pear growers which he was required by statute to supply to the promoters.
