§ Miss HorsbrughThe Education Acts empower local education authorities to provide and to assist other bodies to provide adult education to meet the needs of their areas. The schemes of further education made by local education authorities show that they are prepared to make use of their full powers, and I am satisfied that in general they are doing so.
