§ Mr P. Wellsasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will make available to the Independent Growers' Association a list of growers entitled to vote on the Apple and Pear Marketing Scheme.
§ Sir T. DugdaleOnly growers on the register compiled by the Apple and Pear Marketing Board are entitled to vote on the scheme. The compilation of the register is the sole responsibility of the board, and I cannot therefore make such a list available. There is, however, a right of public access to the register under paragraph 35 of the scheme which requires that the register shall be open for inspection and that any person shall be entitled to be supplied with a copy of the register, or any part thereof, on payment of a fee.
