asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what progress has been made in drawing up a detailed scheme for the development of the existing civil airport at Kai-tak, Hong Kong.

Initial surveys common to various alternative schemes have been completed. A detailed survey of one of these schemes should be finished in June.
