asked the Minister of Fuel and Power what percentage of opencast coal was shipped to Germany during 1952; and how the sale price compared with current market prices.

Mr. Joynson-Hicks

Two per cent. of our opencast coal production in 1952 was shipped to Germany. The price of this coal is negotiated commercially by the National Coal Board.
