Williamsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that the proprietors of certain motor vehicles are obtaining an unauthorised privilege by displaying on their vehicles the letters C.D.; and if he will take steps to prevent this unauthorised practice.
§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeI have no evidenc of any widespread misuse of C.D. plates, which in any event do not confer any privilege or exemption on the owner of the vehicle in question, but if my hon. Friend has any information which he may care to send me I shall be glad to consider it.
