§ Mr. Gerald Howardasked the Minister of Agriculture which recommendations he accepts of the Agricultural Land Commission contained in the report of their inquiries into land situate in Swaffham Prior and Burwell Fens in the county of Cambridge.
§ Sir T. DugdaleI have studied the report of the Agricultural Land Commission on the area of 7,000 acres at Swaffham Prior and Burwell Fens referred to them by my predecessor under Section 84 of the Agriculture Act, 1947. Of the 685 acres that they recommend should be purchased I have decided to buy 588 acres. I have decided not to buy Giblin's Farm of 97 acres.
