asked the Minister of Agriculture whether the samples of gypsum sent to him from Immingham are suitable for use on land which has been flooded by sea water; and what use he proposes to make of the large amount available.

Mr. Nugent

On the basis of the samples of by-product gypsum sent to my right hon. Friend from Immingham this material has too high a moisture content to he suitable for spreading on land flooded by sea water.
