§ Mr. EcclesNine Scottish soap manufacturers are regularly invited to tender for purchases made by my Department. Tenders were last invited on 24th May, 1952, for a 12 months' period contract of an estimated value of £35,000, of which £4,500 was awarded to a Scottish firm. It is contrary to Government practice to disclose the names of contractors.
