Nineteen new projects were started in Scotland in Development Areas in 1945; 48 in 1950; and 26 in 1952. The increase of three in the figure for 1952 over that given in my reply to the hon. Member for Fife, West (Mr. Hamilton) on 19th February is due to the inclusion of additional information which has reached us since that date.
