Mr. Wheatley

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland the individual values of the 57 building projects submitted by regional hospital boards in Scotland which have been approved and started; the sums in respect of each individual project to be expended in 1953; the individual projects which will be started during 1953, and the value of each; and the sums in respect of each of these individual projects to be expended in 1953.

The figures given are subject to adjustment by the hospital authorities during the year. I am sorry that I am unable at this time to name the individual major projects which will be started during 1953 but about £300,000 will be available to be spent on them during the year.
