§ Mr. J. StuartNo. Members of the Civil Defence Corps are not required to pay for any equipment issued to them. Training equipment is supplied on free loan to the responsible local authorities and it is available for purchase by industrial and commercial firms who have formed industrial Civil Defence units. The expenditure incurred may be expected to be admitted as a deduction in computing trading profits for Income Tax purposes.
