Maxwell FyfeThe Sessional Order is published in Metropolitan Police Orders at the beginning of each Session of Parliament, and all police officers are directed to see that the Order is enforced and that every facility is afforded for the free passage of Members to and from the Houses of Parliament. A card bearing a facsimile of the badge of the House of Commons Motor Club is exhibited at police stations which cover the approaches to the House so that police may be able to recognise Members' cars and facilitate their passage to and from the House in accordance with the Sessional Order.
