HC Deb 18 June 1953 vol 516 c82W
Dr. Broughton

asked the Minister of Health how many patients suffering from tuberculosis in the West Riding of Yorkshire are awaiting admission to sanatoria; and what is the average length of time that a patient has to wait before a bed is available.

Mr. Iain Macleod

The latest available information shows that 331 patients from the geographical county are waiting, the period varying from immediate admission to four months according to the urgency.
