asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make a statement on the progress of the negotiations for a truce in Korea.

Mr. Nutting

Since the conclusion of the agreement of 8th June for the exchange of prisoners of war, the liaison and staff officers of both sides have been engaged in verifying the demarcation line and in dealing with other technical and administrative questions. These include bringing the draft armistice agreement up to date. I understand that good progress has been made on these matters.
