HC Deb 31 July 1953 vol 518 c228W
Mr. Nabarro

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether, in view of the shortage of house-coal threatening next winter, he will increase the maximum permitted quantities of coke for domestic consumers in the winter months.

Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd

The present permitted quantity of coke is three tons per annum. This should be sufficient to enable domestic consumers to supplement their house-coal supplies during the winter.
