HC Deb 29 July 1953 vol 518 cc155-6W
Mr. Tilney

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will arrange for the Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation to publish annually a yearly report of the work and achievements of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, and to make this report available for the Members of Parliament of the respective member countries.

Mr. Nutting

It is the responsibility of member Governments to keep their Parliaments informed about the work and achievements of N.A.T.O. Her Majesty's Government discharge this responsibility by means of Ministerial statements in the House and by laying White Papers. I will, however, consider my hon. Friend's suggestion.
