§ Miss Hornsby-SmithWelfare services are provided in accordance with the approved scheme under Section 29 of the National Assistance Act, 1948, for the blind and partially-sighted and arrangements are made through the county health department in accordance with the approved proposals under Section 28 of the National Health Service Act, 1946, for the care and after-care of persons suffering from illness or mental defectiveness.
