asked the Minister of Materials what tonnage of blown timber, resulting from the storm damage of February, has been purchased by his Department.

None. The Ministry of Materials no longer trades in timber. As regards purchases for the stockpile, I would refer my hon. Friend to my reply to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Berwick and East Lothian (Major Anstruther-Gray) on 27th April.
