HC Deb 23 July 1953 vol 518 c60W
68. Mr. Lewis

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware that the annual reports and statement of accounts of the Inter-Parliamentary Union are not available for Members in the House of Commons Library, nor on request from the office of the Inter-Parliamentary Union; and whether, before making any further grant in aid, he will make it a condition that these documents are placed in the House of Commons Library for the reference of hon. Members.

Mr. Boyd-Carpenter

I understand that every member of the Inter-Parliamentary Union is sent a copy of the annual Report and statement of accounts, and that arrangements have been made for a copy of these documents for this year and for future years to be placed in the Library. The second part of the Question does not therefore arise.
