§ Miss HorsbrughThe only figures I can give relate to June, 1953, as compared with June, 1952. On a day in June, 1953, 12,604 children in maintained and assisted schools in Leicester were having dinners. On a day in June, 1952, the figure was 12,321. Over the country as a whole the figures were 2,509,786 and 2,757,608.
